EZ LOC ™ GAP ADJUSTER has been developed for customers that would like to adjust the mill shear plate gap to increase or decrease the particle size quickly & easily. The adjuster consists of a simple spring-loaded locking pin that is pulled out 1/8 of an inch to adjust the mill shear plate gap. The Outer Bearing assembly hub is then free to turn either direction until the desired gap is reached. The graduations on the hub clearly indicate the mill gap to eliminate the need for a feeler gauge or a special spanner wrench ever again. When set, the spring-loaded locking pin is released to lock the Outer Bearing Assembly into position. With the spring-loaded locking pin, there is no chance of the gap drifting while running the mill, which can lead to major damage.
No special tools required and adjustments can be made in seconds.
